Our 2011 Ghost Walks just concluded last week and are happy to report that the three evenings were a huge success. We had a significant increase in attendance, particularly large groups of folks who decided to make Ghost Walks part of their Halloween experience. A big thank you to Rayovac employees who manned the First Friday booth on October 7 and created a lot of interest and buzz about our event that evening. Rayovac was also the first corporate sponsor for Ghost Walks. Their help, enthusiasm and financial support made Ghost Walks a tremendous success this year.
Many thanks to all of the volunteers who portrayed “Grieving Widows” or brought Col. and Mrs. Peel to life in the Mansion. Others helped guide parking, took cash, or helped with “crowd control.” We want to recognize the following:
And special thanks to Chuck Cates of Iron Graphics who gave of his time and expertise providing photos of the event.
